Be Still My Heart 11.14.14

A roundup of the things that made my heart happy this week. 

I have been looking for a little Thanksgiving recipe inspiration and always stop by Martha Stewart's website. Her Thanksgiving round up this year is not a disappointment. Its beautifully laid out, graphically pleasing and full of mouth-watering photos sure to get anyone excited for the big day! I'm seriously craving a Fall fruit pie, so this one looks great to me. 

#Rokerthon just wrapped and Al Roker raised A LOT of money for the USO by breaking the Guinness World Record for forecasting weather for 34 hours in a row. This week Kim Kardashian tried to"break the internet" with nude photos of herself. She raised money for nothing. She helped no one but herself. When Kim's photos dropped, she was leading social media. Not anymore, thanks to Al's #Rokerthon which trumped the 'break the internet' attempt by trending higher on Twitter. Al fixed the internet and inspired many to get after something! 

A little more Thanksgiving inspiration. I love a good tablescape. Domaine Home grouped together a beautiful collection of Thanksgiving table inspiration and this one from Carats & Cake is my favorite. 

I've also been hunting this week for some holiday frocks. This one is gorgeous and playful. 

I asked Husband what made his heart happy this week and, as always, he had a thoughtful, important, and urban answer. He told me about a new campaign through the organization #weloveATL that is bringing people together to share their love of our city. I can get behind that. This guy loves ATL at my favorite local coffee shop, Dancing Goats.
